Job Description

Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP). Perform visual, dimensional, and documentation checks on composite layups, curing cycles, and trimmed parts. Complete inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), create SOP and maintain traceability records. Ensure compliance with cleanroom procedures, FOD prevention, and environmental control related to composite material handling. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or training in aerospace manufacturing is preferred. 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in aerospace composites, preferably involving prepreg and lamination. Familiarity with composite materials, resin systems, layup procedures, and cleanroom standards. Strong understanding of quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001). Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications. Certification in NDT (e.g., Level I/II in UT or visual inspection) is a strong advantage.
