Job Description

The Compliance & Sustainability Intern will support the Compliance & Sustainability Manager, as well as the Group Compliance & Rules Team and Group Sustainability Team, in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) goals at the local level, specifically for Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) markets. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance and sustainability initiatives within a multinational environment .



Key Responsibilities



Regulatory & Compliance



Monitor and report on relevant GCC laws and regulations, with a focus on UAE and KSA.



Assist in drafting and overseeing policies and procedures aligned with corporate compliance frameworks.



Collaborate with the Group Compliance & Rules team to localize and implement global compliance programs.



Coordinate with HQ and local functions on regulatory requests, project management, corporate initiatives.



Manage relationships with external legal counsels, consultants, and third-party compliance service providers.



Sustainability & ESG



Support the integration of sustainability principles into compliance frameworks.



Assist in the implementation of corporate sustainability policies at the regional level.



Contribute to data collection, reporting, and stakeholder engagement efforts at local and HQ level.



Conduct research on sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in responsible business conduct.



Requirements



Passion for pursuing a career in the automotive sector;

Maximum of one-year previous working experience;

Hold a degree in law or economics;

Hold a valid student or family VISA;

Fluent in English (proficiency in Italian or Arabic is a plus);

Comfortable in using new technologies, tools, and applications;

Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
