Position: Compliance Officer

Salary: AED 15,000 per month

A licensed and long-standing financial institution in the UAE is seeking a qualified Compliance Officer. The organization operates within the currency exchange and remittance sector and is regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CFT laws, CBUAE regulations, and internal policies Implement and maintain the compliance monitoring framework Review and report suspicious transactions as per regulatory requirements Support regulatory inspections and internal/external audits Keep abreast of regulatory changes and advise management accordingly Develop and conduct compliance-related training for staff Prepare and submit compliance reports to the CBUAE and internal stakeholders Work closely with operational teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in AML/CFT Compliance, Audit, or Risk Management within the financial sector Preferably CBUAE-approved as a Compliance Officer or ACO Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA Diploma, CFE, or ACFCS In-depth knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and international compliance standards Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
