Your role
Are you looking for a new challenge in an interesting and dynamic environment? Are you risk averse? Then you might be our new C&ORC officer, as we are looking for someone who can:
- focus on the Wealth Management business, including working on client onboarding cases and supporting them in managing risk;
- provide advice to local management and staff;
- perform risk assessments;
- prepare regulatory reports;
- deal with internal and external information requests;
- perform second-line-of-defense controls;
- train employees.
Your team
You\'ll be working in the MENA C&ORC team, a small team based in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The team covers all the UBS offices in the MENA region: Dubai, Riyadh and Doha. The business covered is Wealth Management, Corporate & Institutional and Asset Management. The business is booked abroad, including in Switzerland and Singapore.
Your expertise
- analytic, accurate, structured;
- able to provide practical solutions, minimizing risk;
- result-oriented;
- assertive and pro-active;
- comfortable working independently, as well as enjoying collaborating with colleagues;
- responsible and professional;
- fluent in English.
- a university degree;
- relevant experience in a compliance, risk control, risk management or audit function;
- knowledge of Wealth Management, its structures and products;
- strong oral and written communication skills;
