To support the Compliance Monitoring and Airworthiness functions of EK Engineering and to assure the maintenance and operation of Emirates fleet and customer aircraft is of the highest quality and airworthiness standards and is in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Job Outline:

- To monitor Certificate of Airworthiness, Radio Licence, Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) and Insurance expiry dates and take required necessary action to get these certificates renewed.

- Responsible for scanning of personnel and aircraft certificates to prove qualification and experience of all approved staff in EK engineering and to make a database of all certificates kept on board each aircraft, informing flight operations through E-mail message.

- To liaise and coordinate with Compliance Monitoring Managers and Compliance Monitoring Auditors to update and maintain the Complaince data e.g. Regulatory Documents, Engineering Procedures, GCAA/EASA CAR 145 MOE, Design Organisation Handbook, Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE).

- To produce reports and dashboards relating to audit and safety report trend data and assist in the production of the SAG, RAG and ESB reports.

- To provide specialised technical and administration support to the compliance team and the Manager Compliance Monitoring Engineering and Manager Compliance Monitoring Engineering Regulatory Affairs to ensure smooth day to day running of the department e.g. resolve & action ITSR issues pertaining to Q pulse users account/permissions.

- To maintain a database containing important information such as Aircraft Registration number, Manufacturer?s Serial number, expiry/renewal dates of Airworthiness Certificate, Radio licence, Noise Certificate, Maximum Take-off Weight, amount of fee to be paid for certificates, Flight Test Sampling, etc.

- To liaise and co-ordinate with Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE?s), Mechanics, Technicians and GCAA for various examinations, Licence renewals and other required follow up. Also responsible for the creation and editing of QA Forms for publishing on company?s intranet under the Compliance Monitoring web page.

- Development of Oracle based program for the control of Personal Authorisations Certificates. Coordinating with IT professionals, discussing various requirements and changes needed for the project.

- Working in e authorisation environment for issuing company authorization certificates to LAE?s and Approved Technicians for handling EK fleet as well as third party airlines under direction from Compliance Auditors.

- To produce and support the departmental audit opening and closure of audits by providing necessary data in appropriate format to enable the Compliance Auditors to upload into Engineering Q-Pulse and GCAA web live Q-Pulse and ensure that they are available for distribution to management following final review by Compliance Monitoring Auditors by uploading to the appropriate SharePoint site.in order to facilitate timely closure of non-conformances with the accurate and timely responses to the audits findings.

Engineering. Quality Assurance :

12 Years schooling or equivalent :

4+ in Commercial Airline environment or Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Organisation in Technical Information Systems and Compliance Assurance Section.
Knowledge/skills:
Knowledge of Aircraft Engineering Procedures, Aircraft Certification and Quality systems.
