Our client a leading Asset Manager in the Middle East is seeking a Compliance, MLRO and Risk officer to join their team. It is essential you have experience with DFSA and have worked in Asset Management.

Our client a leading Asset Manager in the Middle East is seeking a Compliance, MLRO and Risk officer to join their team. It is essential you have experience with DFSA and have worked in Asset Management.
Duties Include:
- Design and implement policies/ procedures to comply with legislation
- Report to board advising them of any changes
- Oversee submissions of reports preparing DFSA risk
- Carry out staff training applicable to Dubai legislation under DIFC
- Oversee firm procedure on conflicts/ breaches
- Submission of regulatory returns, notifications to the DFSA
- Manage compliance infrastructure reporting / identifying / assessing compliance
- Monitor reporting to the senior management effectiveness of firm compliance systems
- Report and deliver key compliance financing and issues offering remedial action
- Oversee firm anti-money laundering polices, procedures and controls
- Act as point of contact to receive suspicious activity reports taking appropriate action
- Maintain staff awareness to prevent money laundering
- Annual reporting to the board with results on firms anti-money laundering procedures
- Identify / document risk ensuring all relevant risks are recorded
- Implement risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure professional indemnity insurance cover is in place
- Monitor the firms risk profile recording new activities, process, external events
- Ensuring DFSA receives immediate notification of operational risk whether negative or positive

REQUIREMENTS
- You must be living in the UAE
- It is essential you have compliance experience – DFSA
- Experience working in Asset Management
- 10-15 years’ experience working in a compliance/ risk role
- MLRO experience in DIFC
