Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Manager with extensive insurance experience to ensure full adherence to UAE laws, CBUAE regulations, and internal policies. This role will be pivotal in maintaining robust compliance frameworks and supporting the leadership team on regulatory and governance matters.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the company's compliance framework in line with CBUAE regulations and insurance standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the Central Bank of the UAE and other regulatory authorities.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings, reports, and responses.
• Review and update compliance policies, manuals, and procedures to reflect current regulations.
• Advise senior management and business units on compliance risks and regulatory matters.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring across all business functions.
• Oversee compliance training programs to ensure awareness and adherence to regulations.
• Investigate compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions.
• Support governance frameworks, including board reporting, internal audits, and compliance committee meetings.
• Monitor emerging laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting the insurance sector.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of compliance experience, with at least 3 years in UAE insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of CBUAE regulations for insurance companies.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CCO are a plus.
• Proven experience managing regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
