We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to clients. Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Assist with warehouse duties when required, including inventory management and stock organisation. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times during operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type. Prior experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse logistics is desirable. Mechanical knowledge of vehicles is advantageous for routine maintenance checks. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Experience driving flatbed vehicles or similar large transport equipment is preferred. Ability to organise routes efficiently and adapt to changing schedules as needed. A clean driving record is essential, demonstrating safe driving practices throughout previous roles.
