Role Description
The Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations. The role requires strict adherence to traffic rules, timely delivery, and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
Transport goods/materials/passengers to assigned destinations on time.
Load and unload materials when required.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery notes, and mileage records.
Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries or passenger transport.
Comply with company safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driving license Medium/Heavy
Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
Ability to read maps, GPS, and delivery instructions.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Physically fit to lift and move goods if needed.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Preferred Skills
Experience in logistics and transportation.
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Customer service experience is an advantage.
Working Conditions
Work may include long hours, weekends, or shift schedules.
Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor tasks.
May involve lifting or handling packages.
