Job Description

Company driver duties include operating vehicles for transporting goods, materials, or personnel, ensuring timely and safe deliveries, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following traffic laws, adhering to company policies, and documenting all trips accurately. They are also responsible for safe loading and unloading, planning efficient routes, and communicating effectively with dispatch, clients, and management to maintain a professional image for the company.

Core Driving & Transport Duties

Operate vehicles:

Drive company vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) to transport goods, equipment, personnel, or packages to designated locations.

Safe transport:

Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo or passengers, following proper handling procedures.

Route planning:

Use GPS and knowledge of the area to plan the shortest and most efficient routes, adapting to traffic conditions.
Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep

Inspections:

Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to check for safety and operational readiness.

Basic maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and refueling.

Cleaning:

Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure a professional appearance.

Reporting issues:

Report any vehicle defects, damages, or maintenance needs to the appropriate management for repair.
Logistics & Record-Keeping

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, mileage, and any incidents.

Load/unload:

Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods or materials as required.

Timely deliveries:

Ensure goods are delivered on schedule, coordinating with dispatch and adapting to changes.
Compliance & Professional Conduct

Traffic laws:

Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.

Professionalism:

Maintain a professional demeanor and good attitude when interacting with Management and all staff.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure smooth operations and timely information exchange.

Timing:

Can be extended to normal 9hrs duty without any additional fees if the operation really needs them.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
