To assess, support, and empower individuals and families in the community by providing social services, promoting mental and emotional well-being, and facilitating access to available resources in line with UAE laws, cultural norms, and community standards.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management:
o Monitor progress and provide continuous support and follow-up.
o Coordinate with government bodies (e.g., Ministry of Community Development, MOHRE) for client support.
- Community Engagement:
o Organize and participate in community events and support groups.
- Advocacy & Referral:
o Refer clients to appropriate services such as legal aid, healthcare, or financial support.
- Collaboration:
o Attend inter-agency meetings and case conferences.
- Documentation & Reporting:
o Prepare reports in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Compliance & Ethics:
o Maintain confidentiality and respect for client dignity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Experience in social work preferred
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic & English is required.
- Knowledge of UAE Laws: Familiarity with social welfare policies, child protection laws, and labor rights in the UAE.
- Soft Skills: Empathy, strong communication, problem-solving, cultural competence, and teamwork.
