Duties and Responsibilities
As the Communications Specialist, you will be an essential member of our team, working closely with the Corporate Communications Manager to draft compelling content, enhance our brand reputation, and engage our audience across multiple internal and external platforms.
Responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading communications, from newsletters to press releases and developing design materials - in this role, you will primarily focus on the following:
Storytelling and copywriting: You should have a knack for storytelling through various types of online and offline copy to increase brand awareness and company reputation.
Writing, developing content, editing, and publishing engaging and compelling long-form and short-form articles for a number of communication channels, including whitepapers, case studies, newsletters and direct mailers, website content, blog articles, video scripts, and materials for corporate social responsible campaigns, and social media captions,
Using SEO expertise to create digital content pieces would be a definite plus,
Experience in sustainability and corporate social report writing and project management would be an added advantage.
Extensive knowledge of all features in PowerPoint software: Ability to create high-quality, engaging, and informative content for slides, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Overseeing editing of client materials such as client newsletters and presentations for word usage, tone, style, format, accuracy, etc.
Project and content management: Highly experienced in regularly managing and updating content management systems such as WordPress, MailChimp, and various other social platforms.
Develop, plan, and implement digital content marketing strategies,
Conducting, analysing, and summarizing quantitative and qualitative research and corporate brand equity studies,
Developing and managing strategic corporate external and internal including staff townhalls, client stakeholder events.

Educational Background and Experience
Fluent English speaker and writer
Arabic language would be an added advantage
BA or MA in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
Between 5-8 years of experience in copywriting corporate and marketing communications materials in the healthcare or sustainability field
Strong competency in full MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Experience working with IT platforms such as Wordpress and MailChimp
Design software experience is a plus

The position is based in our regional office in Dubai, UAE, and it may entail frequent working hours with our internal staff, clients and partners who are located globally from LatAm to Asia
Flexibility in terms of travel and working hours is essential
