22964BR Requisition Number: 22964BR Description: The Communications Specialist will sit within the Client\'s Drainage Project Department together with the other Stantec staff assigned to this PMC project and play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders. They are responsible for supporting both external and internal communications, promoting a positive public image, and controlling the dissemination of information on behalf of the department in collaboration with other members of the Dubai Municipality team responsible for

• \\tDevelopment and implementation of communication strategies to enhance the organization\'s visibility and reputation.

• \\tManaging various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, and digital platforms.

Amongst the responsibilities below the Communications Specialist will be expected to present internal and external communication strategies to senior business internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: 1.\\tDevelop Effective Communication Strategies:

• \\tCreate and implement communication plans that align with the departments goals.

• \\tCraft strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

2.\\tManage Internal Communications:

• \\tPrepare internal memos, newsletters, presentations and other communication materials.

• \\tFoster transparent and efficient communication among employees.

3.\\tDraft Content for Mass Media and Company Website:

• \\tWrite press releases, articles, and other materials for external distribution.

• \\tEnsure consistent messaging across various platforms.

4.\\tLiaise with Media and Handle Requests:

• \\tInteract with journalists, respond to inquiries, and arrange interviews.

• \\tPrepare statements and manage media relations.

5.\\tBuild Relationships with Advocates and Key Stakeholders:

• \\tCultivate connections with influencers, industry experts, and community leaders.

• \\tCollaborate with external parties to promote the organization\'s message.

6.\\tAssist in Crisis Management:

• \\tHandle damage control during negative publicity situations.

• \\tAddress disputes with the public or external vendors.

Title: Communications Specialist (Arabic Speaker) Qualifications: Requirements and Skills:

• \\tProven Experience as a Communications Specialist:

• \\tFamiliarity with corporate communications practices.

• \\tMinimum of 5-8 years experience in Corporate Communications

• \\tProject management skills.

• \\tWeb Design and Content Production Experience (a Plus):

• \\tAbility to create engaging content for digital platforms.

• \\tCopywriting and Editing Skills:

• \\tCraft compelling narratives and messages.

• \\tSolid Understanding of Project Management Principles:

• \\tOrganize and execute communication initiatives effectively.

• \\tProficiency in MS Office:

• \\tFamiliarity with photo and video-editing software is advantageous.

• \\tExcellent Communication (Oral and Written) and Presentation Skills:
