Kenvue Consumer Health is currently recruiting an Intern, Communications and Public Affairs, to join the AMET Communications & Public Affairs team. The role is based in the Dubai office and reports to the Communications and Public Affairs Leader in AMET. The Communications & Public Affairs Intern will be assisting in the execution and planning, development, and implementation of integrated external and internal communication and public affairs strategies that engage and influence stakeholders and support the growth objectives of Kenvue Consumer Health in AMET. They will work closely with the AMET Communications & Public Affairs Leader. This role will require a high level of credibility, and strong interpersonal skills to be able to build trusted relationships with external and internal stakeholders across AMET. Key areas of responsibility Support in driving employee engagement and advocacy through powerful organizational communication
  • Support executing internal communication plans, programs, and messages to inspire, engage, inform, and align employees across AMET.
  • Assist the Communications & Public Affairs Leader for AMET to ensure harmonization of key initiatives across the cluster and to ensure AMET is visible in the broader cluster and regional internal communications.

Assist decisions to drive business growth and develop and enhance our reputation. \xc2\xa7 Support implementation of Communication and Public Affairs strategies to strengthen the corporate image and reputation of Kenvue Consumer Health AMET as a leader, breakthrough innovator, and trusted partner.
  • Maintain an understanding of current issues in the environment affecting Kenvue Consumer Health and their brands and issue reports.
  • Proactively engage, inform, and influence key external stakeholders; develop relationships with key external stakeholders, including media, and major trade associations.
  • Assess opportunities and organize proactive participation of company leadership in key events and forums.
  • Identify and apply key outcomes and metrics to communication practices, and provide insights that improve quality, performance, and key capabilities.
  • Works on communications crafting, issuing reports, and monitoring.

Support management of issues
  • Identify potential Kenvue Consumer Health or brand-related issues and support developing local issues management strategies and processes by partnering with the Communications & Public Affairs Leader for AMET and Regional Issues Management Leader.
  • Support creating meticulous monitoring and reports.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business or Communication with 1- 2 years proven experience in a communications or public affairs role; ideally in a corporate environment, public relations agency, industry trade body, or industry in-house role; a focus on communication within the consumer health, personal care or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
  • Strong experience in media relations required, with the ability to form trusted relationships with key reporters and influencers.
  • Strong experience in public affairs is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal and change communication, issues management, and integrated marketing communications.
  • Understanding of external environment that may influence business opportunities such as politics, regulation, business trends, and NGO activities preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop compelling stories and excellent written and verbal communications skills in Arabic and fluent English skills.
  • Must demonstrate an international mindset, operating flexibly from a regional and local level.
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency, balance multiple priority assignments and deliver against tight time constraints. Calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a compliant manner, respecting the local and regional regulations and accustomed to dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must possess high accountability for work quality and a solution-oriented mindset.
