looking for a highly-motivated Communications Assistant who will be a key part of executing successful communications initiatives for our rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing engaging content and materials that will help position IIQAF as a quality leader in early child care and education.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively develop creative, innovative, and cohesive editorial content and materials to create awareness and promote the mission and values of IIQAF
Create media plans and editorial calendars to ensure flawless execution of communication initiatives
Design and deliver engaging and impactful communication products in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Develop creative solutions to quickly address pressing communications challenges
Manage the implementation of approved communications initiatives
Identify opportunities to engage external stakeholders and build relationships with media contacts
Monitor media coverage and create comprehensive reports
Proactively research emerging trends and best practices in the Early Child Care and Education sector
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
3 years of experience in communications, public relations, and/or content creation
Proven experience in developing content, writing persuasive copy and creating compelling visuals for a variety of audiences
Skilled in leading complex teams, multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
In-depth knowledge of the early child care and education and related industries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and poise under pressure
