Job Description
looking for a highly-motivated Communications Assistant who will be a key part of executing successful communications initiatives for our rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing engaging content and materials that will help position IIQAF as a quality leader in early child care and education.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Proactively develop creative, innovative, and cohesive editorial content and materials to create awareness and promote the mission and values of IIQAF
- Create media plans and editorial calendars to ensure flawless execution of communication initiatives
- Design and deliver engaging and impactful communication products in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop creative solutions to quickly address pressing communications challenges
- Manage the implementation of approved communications initiatives
- Identify opportunities to engage external stakeholders and build relationships with media contacts
- Monitor media coverage and create comprehensive reports
- Proactively research emerging trends and best practices in the Early Child Care and Education sector
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
- 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, and/or content creation
- Proven experience in developing content, writing persuasive copy and creating compelling visuals for a variety of audiences
- Skilled in leading complex teams, multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of the early child care and education and related industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and poise under pressure
- Ability to set and meet tight timelines
