Position: Commissioning Telecommunication Specialist Experience: 20 Years Work Location: Based in Doha (Qatar) but willing to move in Yard for Short Missions & Qatar Offshore for Medium / Long Missions. Position Type: Contractual (06 months & extendable)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline (Preferably Telecommunication). 15 Years in the Oil & Gas Industry with a minimum of 10 Years experience in Telecom Systems involved in Oil and Gas Industry. Minimum of 10 Years experience as Commissioning Telecommunication Specialist and at least 3 Project Experiences.

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in Task Force coordinating with the Project Team, different JV's Contractors and Client. Technical knowledge of Telecom Systems in Yard & Offshore Plant for Pre-commissioning, Commissioning Start Up & Operation activities. Ensure the execution of the Telecom activities concerning Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up & Operation and handing over of the Telecom Systems to the Client according to contractual requirements and project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule. Ensure compliance of the Yard & Offshore Site activities for which it is responsible with the established process and HSE requirements, while respecting the relative time and cost targets. Knowledge of the CMS, Engineering Systems and Tools. Knowledge of the Telecom Test Equipment and Tools. Knowledge and Preparation of Commissioning & Operational Test Procedures. Knowledge of Telecom System Architecture, Engineering Practices, System Configuration and Integration. Knowledge of PC, Windows, Office Software and IT implementation background. Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Safety Standards and Requirements.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Proven Technical Knowledge with the sequences and activities of preparation for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up and Operation of the following Telecom Systems: Transmission Systems (FOC, SDH, PDH, DWDM, OTN, LoS Microwave, VSAT). Data Network Systems (LAN, WAN, WIFI, IP PABX, Telephone, Routers, Switches, Firewall). VoIP based Telephone System. Radio Systems (VHF, UHF, TETRA, Crane Radio, Marine Radio). Process Data Network (Process CCTV, SCADA, PI Server, SoE Server). Security Systems (Security CCTV, ACS). PA/GA System. Time Synchronization System. Weather Monitoring System.
