Commissioning Manager -FPSO (I & C)
Duration: 7 months ( may be extendable)
PURPOSE:
Commissioning Manager, responsible for ensuring the proper functionality and handover of all I&C systems on the FPSO. This includes planning, organizing, and leading the commissioning activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements commissioning plans for I&C systems, ensuring they align with overall project schedules and objectives.
- Leads and manages the I&C commissioning team, providing guidance, direction, and technical support.
- Maintains accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders, including EPCM contractors, suppliers, and operations teams, to ensure smooth commissioning and handover.
- Identifies and resolves issues that arise during commissioning, ensuring systems are functioning as intended.
- Promotes a strong safety culture and ensures that all commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Oversees the handover of I&C systems to the operations team, ensuring they are fully functional and documented.
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commissioning I&C systems on FPSO projects is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of I&C systems, including control systems, safety systems, and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
