Job Summary

This is a full-time role for a

Commissioning Engineer

located on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of energy systems. They will work closely with the engineering team to ensure efficient and reliable operation, conduct tests, and resolve issues promptly. The engineer will also contribute to the optimization and maintenance of energy systems, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct electrical testing and verification procedures to ensure system performance and compliance with technical standards. Commission, calibrate, and troubleshoot energy systems, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all testing and commissioning activities. Utilize PLC systems and networking/communication devices for system monitoring, diagnostics, and control. Provide technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for system improvements or corrective actions. Support project planning and execution by providing electrical engineering expertise and input. Stay updated with industry developments, particularly in renewable energy technologies, and integrate best practices into daily work. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery and technical clarity.

Skills & Requirements:

Experience in Electrical Testing and Testing procedures Proficient in commissioning and troubleshooting of energy systems Strong background in Electrical Engineering Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus Strong communication skills and fluency in English Knowledge in PLC Knowledge in Networking and communication devices
