Roles and Responsibilities

Review method statements, Commissioning procedures, material and other submittals based on project specifications, local and international regulations and applicable standards. Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and offering required recommendations, Conduct installation & testing and commissioning inspection of all electrical systems (ELV, LV and MV). Witness and participate in site acceptance test (SAT) for electrical systems ELV ( Fire Alarm, PAVA, BMS, Security System, Car Park Management, Emergency Lighting, Lighting Control, Telecom), LV ( Generator, ATS, MDB, SMDB, PFC, FDB, Control Panels, UPS, Earthing, etc) & MV ( 11kV Switchgear, 11kV Cables, Transformers) Inspect quality of works in compliance to codes, electrical practices and other technical specifications. Review and response to RFI (Request for Information) from Engineer based on the contract and design specifications/drawings. Attend and represent the client during Local Authority site inspection for the systems related to your work. Attend meetings regarding project progress, Commissioning, design issues, planning, coordination, etc. Submit Status reports to Project Commissioning Manager related to commissioning work progress and outstanding items. Attending and leading site acceptance testing of electrical equipment ensuring full compliance with site specifications. Witnessing/demonstration of all electrical system to the local and international standards. Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during and after installation and/or testing and commissioning. Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies or systems under simulated operating conditions and records results. Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify and solve developmental problems. Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems. Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations. Plan, schedule and monitor work of support personnel to assist supervisor

Qualification & Educational Requirement:

Electrical Engineering Bachelor's Degree 2-5 years of experience in relevant field and electrical projects Have the knowledge of the MV Switchgear, Ring Main unit, Transformer, Distribution boards, Motor control center, Variable frequency drive and power factor correction, ELV and special system.
