Pastry Chef de Partie - MamaLu Kitchen

Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

MamaLu Kitchen is seeking a charismatic, skilled, and people-focused Pastry Chef de Partie to join our growing cooking school on Palm Jumeirah.

This role is perfect for someone with exceptional pastry skills, a flair for teaching, and the confidence to work with both adults and children, while also being comfortable preparing select savory dishes like fresh pasta.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver interactive pastry and cooking classes with confidence, clarity, and charisma. Teach both children and adults, adapting your approach to different age groups. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen following strict health, safety, and hygiene standards. Coordinate daily with the Events & Sales Coordinator to plan class schedules, menus, and ingredients. Prepare a variety of pastries and desserts, including: Breads and artisan loaves Cakes and cake decorating Choux pastry, eclairs, and profiteroles Macarons Cookies and biscuits Cupcake decorating Prepare select savory dishes like fresh pasta. Manage ordering, supplier communication, and full mise en place for all classes.

Who We're Looking For

Expert in pastries - breads, cakes, cake decorating, choux pastry, macarons, eclairs, cookies, and cupcakes. Charismatic, upbeat, and confident leading groups of children and adults. Patient, adaptable, and comfortable teaching in a lively, interactive environment. Strong culinary foundation with basic knowledge of savory dishes (fresh pasta, pizza/focaccia). Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Experience in a professional kitchen (3-5+ years).
