Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes from Continental, Italian, and Mediterranean menus.
Prepare mise en place and ensure all ingredients are available and properly stored before service.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating standards as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Support smooth daily kitchen operations, especially within the
hot kitchen
section.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and rotation of all ingredients.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in
Continental, Italian, or Mediterranean hot kitchen
.
Strong understanding of grilling, sauteing, roasting, and sauce preparation.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
