This role supports the daily culinary operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients
Prepare dishes according to recipes, quality guidelines, and presentation standards
Check temperature and functionality of kitchen equipment
Prepare cold foods, sauces, salads, and mise en place
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies
Support senior chefs during busy service hours
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of food items
Assist with stock checks and daily kitchen organization
Comply with safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance issues
Perform additional culinary duties assigned by supervisors
Ideal Profile
Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen operations role
Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food handling
Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality
Physically able to stand for long hours and perform kitchen-related movements
