to join our Kanji kitchen team within our Talabat delivery concept. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support senior chefs to ensure consistent quality and timely production of orders.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and dishes according to Kanji recipes and standards
Support CDP, and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
Ensure all food items are prepared with consistency, quality, and presentation
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
Minimize waste and properly handle ingredients
Work efficiently in a fast-paced delivery kitchen environment
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as Commis II or similar role
Basic knowledge of Asian / Japanese cuisine preferred
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team player with positive attitude
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary certificate or relevant training
Experience in cloud kitchen or delivery-focused operations
Knowledge of inventory handling and stock rotation (FIFO)
