Position: Commis Chef II Job Location: Abu Dhabi Role Overview: To prepare and cook food on a daily basis according to business requirements and as directed by the Executive Chef Main Duties: Organize together section with regard to mise-en-place, production and its service. Take orders from Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner Work to the specifications received by the Executive Chef regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index Responsible for completing the daily checklists regarding mise-en-place and food storage Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Chef de Partie and to follow up and ensure the necessary work has been carried out. Keep the section clean and tidy. Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and professionalism Follow company policies and procedures, demonstrate efficient teamwork and contribute to the achievement of business goal Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Associate's degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts is advantageous. A food handler's license. Preferred Experience: Having strong knowledge about food and hygiene and safety standards. Having strong stamina because this job will require you to stand in a long period. Proven commercial kitchen experience. Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. Operating Environment: Is carrying out his duties as a waiter in all indoor/outdoor areas of the Club where food and beverage is prepared and served. Maintains the highest standard of professional ethics Emphasize and projects a high image for the resort Is concerned with the operation objectives of the resort.
