Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Commis Chef
to join our cafe kitchen team. You will assist in preparing fresh, high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that all food is served to the highest standards.Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking cafe menu items. Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization, following health and safety standards. Support senior chefs with food preparation. Assist with stock rotation and inventory management. Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role in a cafe or restaurant setting. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Team player with good communication skills.
