Commis Chef

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis Chef III to join our team and grow their culinary career in a luxury cafe located in a business hub in Al Jimi, Al Ain. He will support in preparing high-quality food, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and presentation of menu items according to company standards. Ensure timely preparation of food orders while maintaining quality. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation according to cafe standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, tools, equipment and storage areas. Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures. Maintain freshness and proper storage of bread products. Assist senior chefs in daily operations, including inventory management and portion control. Prepare with dessert mise en place for service Ensure food safety standards (HACCP) are followed at all times. Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and minimizing food waste
Qualifications:
At least with experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards. Willing to work shifts, including holidays.
