Job Description

Support Pastry Chefs daily tasks. Focus on baking and producing goods in bulk. Perform cooking, cleaning, stocking of raw materials and ingredients, with minimal supervision. Should understand the chemical and physical reactions involved in baking.

Responsibilities

? Follow set recipes to ensure that products are of a consistent taste, presentation and quality.

? Utilise large equipment for mixtures.

? Report/escalate any issues that may affect production and quality to Team Leader/Line Manager and assist in finding a solution.

? Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for colleagues, including cleanliness of bakery equipment and utensils.

? Work as part of the larger production team where necessary, using flexibility and initiative to adapt to different circumstances.

? Maintain company record sheets as appropriate and in accordance with the Food Safety Management system.

? Support Head Chef and Production Team in all aspects.

Qualifications

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.

? Good time/resource management, and planning skills.

? Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.

? Basic maths skills.

? Organised approach to work.

? Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfil orders, and create amazing baked goods.

? Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.

? Ability to work in an active, fast-paced environment, including lifting heavy items for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
