Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of bakery items, including breads, pastries, and cakes.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or as instructed by senior bakers.
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
Support senior bakers in managing inventory and ensuring the freshness of ingredients.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a bakery/pastry or similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a passion for baking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
