Job Title: Commis 3 Chef - Colleague Kitchen
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Colleague Kitchen Chef / Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Commis 3 in the colleague kitchen (employee cafeteria) assists in the preparation and service of meals for hotel staff. The focus is on producing high-quality, nutritious food in large quantities efficiently and hygienically.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing large batches of food for staff meals, including salads, vegetables, starches, and simple entrees.
  • Service: Help during meal service periods by serving food to colleagues and maintaining the serving line.
  • Cleanliness: Wash, peel, and chop ingredients. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and the dining area after service.
  • Stock Management: Assist in receiving and storing goods for the colleague kitchen.
  • Waste Management: Help manage waste and compost according to hotel policy.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • No prior experience required; training is provided.
  • Positive attitude and respect for fellow colleagues.
  • Good understanding of basic hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
