As Commis 2 - Garde Manger, we rely on you to:
Assist in the daily operation/production of the Garde Manger
Maintain high standards of food preparation and service along with the existing standards
Reflect the Shangri-La philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers
Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu contents
Practice the hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel
We are looking for someone who has:
Diploma / certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred
Experience working in a Cold section in a 5* hotel
Passion for Food & Beverage, creative with attention to details
Conversational English
Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
