As Commis 2 - Garde Manger, we rely on you to:
  • Assist in the daily operation/production of the Garde Manger
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation and service along with the existing standards
  • Reflect the Shangri-La philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers
  • Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu contents
  • Practice the hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Diploma / certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience working in a Cold section in a 5* hotel
  • Passion for Food & Beverage, creative with attention to details
  • Conversational English
  • Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
