Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items.
Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
Support the Sr. Chef and Bakery team in daily mise-en-place.
Ensure all baked products are consistent in quality, taste, and appearance.
Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all bakery ingredients.
Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.).
Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and waste reduction.
Work closely with the team to ensure timely preparation for buffet setups, events, and daily service.
Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in bakery or pastry (hotel experience preferred).
Basic knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and pastry fundamentals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.
