In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through the preparation of exquisite dishes that highlight both local and international cuisines.
As a Commis 1, you will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, collaborating with a team of skilled chefs to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence. This is a unique opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a breathtaking location.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes under the supervision of the senior chefs
• Assist in menu planning and preparation of daily specials
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Contribute to the training of junior kitchen staff
• Support the kitchen in achieving operational efficiency and consistency

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Commis 1 or in a similar role within a resort or upscale restaurant
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow in the kitchen
