Job Description
Location: Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort, Al Aqah Fujairah Job Type: Full-time, On-site Salary: Competitive Benefits: Free food and accommodation, Good job experience : Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort in Al Aqah, Fujairah, is looking for a skilled Commis 1 to join our team. As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food under the supervision of the Chef de Partie and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking food according to the menu
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and within the given time frame
- Monitor the quality of the ingredients and ensure that they are used efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times
- Assist in the preparation of inventory and ordering of supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of different cuisines
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Relevant culinary degree or certificate is preferred but not required
