Commis 1 Prepare food according to established recipes and standards in the assigned area of work as determined by the CDP & Chef De Cuisine.
Ensure that the food served in all F&B outlets, including the staff cafeteria, meets the highest standards possible for the area.
Assist with training within your department and attend training sessions as necessary in accordance with hotel regulations.
Hygiene Control - Cleaning Schedule. Ensure that all records are kept.
A Commis 1 assists in the implementation of standard operating procedures for all dishes.
Perform cleaning within your own department, ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are met.
Understand and follow the rules outlined in the hotel's employee handbook.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and managers.
Be accountable for ordering all fresh produce and dry products for kitchen use.
