Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned's Club, a private members' club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis I to join our fine-dining culinary team in a luxury hotel environment. The ideal candidate will support senior chefs in delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in daily food preparation and service Prepare and present dishes according to fine-dining and luxury brand standards Ensure mise en place is prepared efficiently and on time Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards strictly Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients Support the team during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

Previous experience as Commis I or Commis II in a fine-dining restaurant or luxury hotel Basic culinary education or professional kitchen training preferred Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
