Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked items according to recipes and standards.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in the pastry kitchen.
Measure and prepare ingredients accurately as directed by senior pastry staff.
Assist with plating and presentation of desserts and pastries.
Follow food safety regulations and proper storage procedures for ingredients.
Support senior chefs in daily operations, including mise en place and inventory management.
Learn and apply new pastry techniques and recipes as instructed.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Culinary degree, diploma, or certificate preferred; vocational training in pastry is a plus.
Previous experience in a pastry section is highly desirable.
Knowledge of baking techniques, desserts, and pastry preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn.
Basic English communication skills.
