Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food under the supervision of senior chefs.
Follow kitchen SOPs, recipes, and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and prepared items.
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen stock.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and workstations.
Perform basic cutting, peeling, and portioning tasks as instructed.
Handle equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
Support the team during busy hours and cooperate with other kitchen staff.
Minimize waste and follow portion control practices.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and safety standards.
A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and team spirit.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
