Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at our Al Zahia, Ajman branch. If you have a passion for food and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Assist the head chef and senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation. Prepare ingredients, measure portions, and perform basic cooking tasks for bakery items, pastries, and desserts. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all kitchen areas. Ensure proper storage of food items and manage kitchen inventory under supervision. Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils. Follow recipes and plating guidelines with precision. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food preparation role is an advantage. Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (HACCP knowledge is a plus). Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a hot kitchen environment. Good teamwork and communication skills. Arabic is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Neat personal appearance and grooming.

Preferred Conditions:

Transferable UAE residence visa (sponsorship transferable). Formal culinary training or certification. Experience specifically in bakery, pastry, or dessert preparation.
