Job Description

As the Manager, Commercial, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the sales team, and developing strategic sales initiatives. Your primary focus will be on expanding the customer base, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You possess a track record in proven sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the cargo or logistics industry.

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

2. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.

3. Set sales targets, track team performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
4. Promote sea, air, road and total logistics solutions to current and potential customers through planning and executing sales activities.

5. Promote principal business to customers in the region through planning and executing sales activities.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

7. Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to expand the customer base.
8. Thorough knowledge of shipping line industry, ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo) technical aspects, Documentation, Port and other Operational aspects impacting Pricing.
9. Collaborate with Management to develop and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns.
10. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential threats or opportunities.
11. Work closely with the pricing team to develop competitive pricing strategies and ensure profitability.
12. Provide sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
13. Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and workshops to enhance the skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, associations, and key stakeholders.
15. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
16. Participating in Monthly Business Review Meetings with presentation and data.
17. Participating in local and global logistics bids, creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP/RFQ responses.
18. Key interface between the company and key clients.

19. Engage in close communication with Samudera regional and head office on reporting performance and developing organization's presence in the country and region.
20. Actively develop client relationships at a senior level and be responsible for delivering services that meet the market requirements and offering smart solutions to secure new business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
