Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Laundry Supervisor

to oversee daily laundry operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and safety. The Laundry Supervisor will manage staff, maintain equipment, and ensure all linens and garments are processed according to company and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and schedule laundry staff to ensure smooth daily operations Train, motivate, and evaluate laundry team members Ensure proper washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens/uniforms Monitor inventory of linens, chemicals, and supplies Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Inspect laundry quality and address issues promptly Maintain and report on laundry equipment performance Coordinate with other departments as needed Handle employee concerns and assist with problem-solving

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping (required) Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred) Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to stand, lift, and move items for extended periods Attention to detail and time-management skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial laundry settings Basic computer or inventory management skills Ability to work flexible schedules

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Standing and walking for long periods Exposure to heat, moisture, and cleaning agents
