About The Role You will be responsible to Carry out all outside-the-office government offices runs for processing, follow-through and completion of the daily transactions of the Commercial Government Relations function, ensuring timely completion of CGR job requests. Government Relations Services include but are not limited to registration of business activities and formation of companies with appropriate authorities. Issuance, modification and renewal of trade licenses, commercial and marketing permits, approvals, non-objection certificates, commercial agency agreements, trademarks, municipality, food safety and civil defense certifications, etc. What You'll Be Doing o Handle all CGR application processes that require physical attendance and submission at a government department or other related offices assigned by the government to complete the same. o Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents submitted to governmental or non-governmental offices for a CGR service. o Pay related transaction fees at the government departments submit all receipts and settle credit card statement on monthly basis. o Liaise with various government department representatives to understand process changes, new rules and regulations, new requirements, etc. and advise accordingly the CGR Manager. o Handle all paper-based document submissions and collections related to various CGR transactions such as permits, certificates, licenses, lease agreements issuance, renewal, amendment and cancellation in coordination with CGR Administrator and business units as required. o Coordinate with CGR Administrator to keep copies of all documents collected from/issued by government entities, update GR job trackers, update and close the job requests on CGR system and keep internal customers informed of job progress. o Provide input and feedback on CGR processes and systems and contribute to process improvements as required. o Assist with the preparation of official letters and application forms for ministries, municipalities, economic or other governmental departments and bodies as and when required. o Provide GR support to commercial and digital teams as required for Government Relations matters including Consumer Protection complaints, enquiries, investigations and other matters with various governmental authorities across the GCC jurisdictions. o Execute GR activities in full compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements and in adherence with Group policies, procedures, governance and matrix of authorities' rules. Education/Certification and Continued Education

o A university diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred. o Years of Experience Min. of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with previous Retail, F&B or Hospitality experience Knowledge and Skills o Previous GR experience within UAE & GCC jurisdictions is an advantage. o Developing/good knowledge of UAE/GCC Company law, Business/Commercial Law, and legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to commercial operations, trading, import/export, distribution, store opening and operations, etc. o Basic knowledge of Retail/F&B/Hospitality and distribution industries is an advantage. o Good influencing, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. o Good numerical and commercial skills with an ability to negotiate. o Proactive, collaborative and consultative in style. o Strong communication and presentation skills.

Languages

o Bilingual. Arabic is a must, with good written and spoken English.
