DHL Express has an opening for a Commercial Director in Kuwait. In this position you will Lead, Manage and Direct the Commercial/Sales team in Kuwait. Attain team revenue, profit and yield targets through organization, planning and direction of the team. YOUR TASKS: To coach, manage, direct and lead the sales team in the Country. Provide strategic direction to achieve Sales Targets by drawing up mid to long term plans to ensure DHL is positioned to maintain market leadership in the country and continues to grow its market share. Ensure there is an annual Business Plan for all sales channels with clear objectives that are aligned with the Telesales, Field Sales and National Channel segment tactics and targets as appropriate to the customers serviced by the respective channel. As part of the SMT, establish and implement business strategies that will have a significant impact on organizational objectives and business results Provide accurate input for the country AOP, revenue and profitability targets after close consultation with direct reports considering the local market conditions and potential so that the country achieves the targets set Build close relationships with Strategic partner customers who are key contributors to the revenue in the Kuwaiti market Agree sales targets/objectives that are measurable and achievable annually/monthly with the Channel Managers in order to achieve targeted revenues and profitability Ensure effective transfer of customers between the different channels to help drive their continuous development, loyalty and to maximise the long-term benefits for DHL With the VP Sales MENA and Country Manager, determine and prioritise which tactics detailed in the Regional & Regional Business Direction are to be deployed within the country and determine local sales tactics, and their priority, for adoption of the different sales segments QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS: 5-7years senior management experience in a Commercial role. University bachelor degree in a business discipline Strong sales background in the service industry Achievement drive Building competitive advantage Strong interpersonal skills Market focus/external awareness Shaping Strategy Impact & Influence Business/Commercial Acumen Building and leading teams Budgeting and P&L management Results oriented
