Our client is a well-established law firm specializing in corporate legal matters.

We are recruiting a qualified lawyer specializing in corporate and commercial law from a well-reputed UAE based law firm to join their Dubai office.

The successful candidate must be qualified to practice law in the UAE and will provide legal counsel related to international investments and business transactions.

The role requires candidates to develop new business opportunities through their network.

Role Summary

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, and corporate governance related documents.

• Advice local and foreign investment clients on the legalities pertaining to UAE company and foundation formation.

• Draft and negotiate contracts for shareholders, branches, partnerships, JVs, startups and non-compete and confidentiality agreements.

• Advice clients on matters related to legacy planning, wealth and asset structuring, Prescribed Scope Companies, ADGM SPVs.

• Co-ordinate and manage external lawyers for disputes, arbitration and litigation.

• New business development through networking and following up on leads.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 PQE in corporate and commercial law with a minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 UAE law firm experience in the UAE mainland company formation; establishing new businesses in the UAE for foundations, LLCs, foreign branch and representative offices.

• Strong experience in ADGM, DED, JAFZA, DIFC and DMCC company formation and related documentation including Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Association and Memorandum of Undertaking, NDAs, JVs, shareholder agreements, divestment, real estate contracts and company incorporation procedures.

Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Law \xe2\x80\x93 LLB (Hons) Law

• Candidates must have passed their bar exam.

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live in Dubai.

• Ability to develop and foster long term client relationships to proactively grow the practice to generate incremental revenue.

• Outgoing personality with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation.

• Entrepreneurial with a drive to grow professionally.

• Native English speaking.
