Job Description
Job Summary Collective Training Team Lead is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing tailored collective training events to build required operational capability. The Collective Training Team Lead will operate as part of a multi-cultural collective training team located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position requires experience building a realistic training environment. The focus for collective training is replicating the environmental conditions and tactical tasks. Experience with developing scenarios and conducting training. This position requires deep understanding of conducting training events at the tactical and operational levels in order to operationalize. Essential Functions
- Apply tactical and operational level experience to conduct training seminars
- Develop training scenarios and simulation-based training exercises
- Define collective training team roles, responsibilities and procedures
- Coordinate with the designated UAE representatives
- Prepare and Lead training events
- Identify and document lessons learned
- Exhibit culturally appropriate interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Retired Colonel with extensive training experience at the tactical and operational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight in a variety of roles
- Demonstrated management and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge training with Coalition partners
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (emphasis in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
- Previous work experience in the Middle East is preferred
- Possess active Secret or higher security clearance
- Possess a valid Passport (with more than 6 months to expiration)
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in military science, national security studies, or a related field
- Ten or more years of military experience
- Work history in the Middle East desired
