Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading system-based turnkey solutions company in Dubai, UAE, currently in search of a highly proficient Collections Officer to bolster their dynamic team. The Collections Officer will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the sales and accounting departments to manage and recover outstanding debts from clients. This individual will be tasked with devising a comprehensive strategy for debt collection, ensuring strict adherence to financial regulations governing the debt collection process. Other responsibilities are
- Engage with clients to confirm the accurate receipt of documents and assess their willingness to fulfil outstanding payments.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with customers to recover overdue payments.
- Collaborate with project coordinators and engineers to monitor project progress and track collection due dates.
- Execute debt collection efforts on delinquent accounts, utilising communication channels such as telephone, email, letters, and field visits in accordance with company protocols.
- Remind customers of the agreed-upon Terms and Conditions upon signing and request immediate rectification of their payment status.
- Continuously liaise with clients until payment is received, escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct regular reconciliation and generate reports on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the status of collections, promptly notifying any potential payment issues from customers.
- Pursue outstanding Bank Guarantees.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned from time to time to support the team\'s objectives.
- Safeguard financial information by maintaining the confidentiality of operational data.
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor\'s Degree.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in the role of Collections Officer.
- Valid Driver\'s License.
- Proficiency in dealing with B2B clients.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to maintain financial statements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong aptitude for action planning and effective follow-ups.
