Job Description

A CNC/Laser/Plasma Machine Programmer is responsible for creating, testing, and implementing precise machine programs for CNC, laser, and plasma cutting or engraving machines, using CAD software and G-code. Key duties include analyzing technical drawings, optimizing machine performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with engineering and production, and performing equipment maintenance. Essential qualifications include a background in engineering or manufacturing, experience with CNC programming, CAD software proficiency, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities: -

Program Development:

Design, write, and implement CNC programs for laser and plasma cutting and engraving, ensuring they meet production needs and quality standards.

Technical Analysis:

Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other technical specifications to develop efficient cutting paths and processes.

Machine Optimization:

Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to optimize machine performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Quality Control:

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure the highest quality of output and adherence to production schedules.

Documentation:

Maintain records of programming processes, revisions, and machine calibrations.

Operator Training:

Train machine operators on new programs, procedures, and machine functionality.

Maintenance & Calibration:

Perform regular calibration and maintenance on laser and CNC equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications: -

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is often preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience with CNC programming and the specific technology (laser, plasma) is crucial.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in CAD software for design and G-code for machine instructions.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve programming and operational issues.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in creating machine programs.

Communication:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
