Set up and manage CNC machines for various operations including drilling, milling, grinding, and turning.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to define machining dimensions.
Monitor and adjust machines during operations to improve performance and maintain accuracy.
Load/unload raw materials and tools; ensure proper cutting tool setup using heat shrink fit, tool balancer, and Zoller measuring machine.
Conduct regular in-process measurements and visual inspections.
Record all actions, complete production logs, and perform SFC data entry.
Perform daily maintenance, coolant monitoring, cleaning, and machine troubleshooting.
Follow safety guidelines, NC management procedures, and support non-conformance investigations.
Perform deburring, engraving, and tab removal per work instructions
Ensure 5S and housekeeping standards are upheld.
Monitor and report scrap levels against production output.
Handle job changeovers and verify process sequences by stamping relevant shop travelers.
Education and Qualifications:
Trade School Accreditation or High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
Certificate or Diploma in Engineering is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
