We are seeking a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machine to produce precision-cut parts and components according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up laser cutting machines based on job specifications, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
Operate laser cutting machines to accurately cut or engrave materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD files to ensure precision and quality.
Monitor machine performance and quality of output during operation.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting equipment.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
Record production data and maintain logs as required.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar CNC machinery preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
Familiarity with laser cutting software and CAD files is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Commitment to safety standards and workplace cleanliness.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
