Our local chain of Hotels & Resorts in GCC was founded in 2008 and represents a collection of trendy-chic 4 to 5 star boutique hotels which are known for their high level of service and outstanding attributes that promise excellence.

An exciting opportunity for \xe2\x80\x9cCluster Sales Manager\xe2\x80\x9d is available in our cluster of two 4\\[ hotels in Dubai. The Cluster Sales Manager, under the supervision of the Cluster Director of Sales and within the limits of established Corporate/Sales policies and procedures, leads all aspects of the Sales and Marketing activities.

The candidate MUST have prior experience in the hotel industry, with at least one year in a similar role, working in the \xe2\x80\x9cCorporate Segment\xe2\x80\x9d. In depth knowledge of Al Barsha and surrounding areas are a must along with a UAE driving license.

His/her responsibilities include overseeing the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans; management of the sales and marketing team and reporting on effectiveness of the plan.

It is not the intent of this to cover all aspects of the position but to highlight the most important areas of responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:

\xc2\xb7 Provides a professional, advisor support service to the Cluster Director of Sales

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater profitability through:

\xc2\xb7 Increasing average rate

\xc2\xb7 Overall occupancy

\xc2\xb7 Increasing business volume during off-peak periods

\xc2\xb7 Increasing local food & beverage and banquet sales

\xc2\xb7 Reviews regularly activity reports of Sales to ensure targets and Sales objectives are met.

\xc2\xb7 Investigates potential markets by:

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing Sales Department and Front Office correspondence files

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing guest history and registration card files

\xc2\xb7 Studying guest questionnaires

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing government statistics on visitors to the city

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing competition\xe2\x80\x99s sales/promotion efforts

\xc2\xb7 Studying various reference and industry publications for sales leads

\xc2\xb7 Maintains good communication with Regional Sales and Marketing and implement corporate initiatives.
