Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills is looking to strengthen our team with a passionate cluster Chief Engineer



We are proud of our 481-room hotel (90 suites) overlooking the Trump Golf Course, within the DAMAC Hills Community in Dubai Land. To create many a memorable moment for our guests, we will have 4 F&B outlets - Fire Lake Grill restaurant, Hessa St. Kitchen- serving authentic Asian favorites a la carte, Hills Pool Deck and also Issei - a trendy Nikkei fusion restaurant & bar, at our rooftop. In addition to the above, we also have 4 meeting & event spaces and a busy in-room dining service.

Key Responsibilities of the Cluster Chief Engineer:

Ensures the smooth running of the property maintenance department, where all areas are maintained to the highest levels Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries Develops and implements plans where property maintenance initiatives & hotel targets are achieved Develops and manages engineering budgets including controling HLP and managing Capex . Represents the hotel as the Responsible Business/Sustainability champion with immense focus on sustainability related intiatives, practices, competitions. Champions project management for the hotel. Leads and manages the maintenance team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders Establishes and delivers an effective planned preventative maintenance programme to address maintenance and environmental and conservation matters Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

Salary Details:


Competitive Salary provided - AED 16,000 to 18,000


Housing Allowance provided


Performance Incentive Bonus

Qualifications

Requirements of the Cluster Chief Engineer:

Proven experience in property maintenance with strong problem-solving capabilities Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style Exceptional project handling skills Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands adaptability, excellence, time and energy Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms Strong communication skills
